Dear fencers, here you can see all the information regarding competition schedules, controls and transfers between the city center and the sports center. Please pay special attention to the fact that this year the competition and finals will not be held in the sports hall.

XXVII Junior World Cup “Ciudad de Burgos” – Women’s Epee Individual

Entries

Open to all fencers with a valid 2025-2026 FIE License.
Minimum age: 13 years on January 1, 2025.
Maximum age: Under 20 years old on December 31, 2024 (cf o.80).
All entries must be submitted through www.fie.org following FIE rules (cf o.54).

Participation

Each national federation may enter up to 12 fencers. The organizing country may enter up to 20 fencers plus the number needed to make up the pools.

Competition Formula

One qualifying round of pools, direct elimination table for a final by direct elimination (cf o.35-o.41).

7 days before the competition, through www.fie.org.

Entry Fee

25 € as per FIE rules, to be paid at registration.

1 to 4 fencers: No referee required
5 to 9 fencers: 1 referee
10 or more fencers: 2 referees

Team Entries

One team per country, per weapon. Valid FIE license required. Same age restrictions and registration process as individual event.

Formula

Integral direct elimination table. All places up to 16th will be fenced. Placement of teams according to FIE rules (cf o.42-o.47).

150 € per team as per FIE rules, to be paid at registration.
